Type Allocation Code (TAC): 

The first 8 digits indicate the make and model of the device.

पहले 8 अंक डिवाइस के मेक और मॉडल को दर्शाते हैं. 

Serial Number: 

The next 6 digits are the unique serial number for the device.

अगले 6 अंक डिवाइस के लिए अद्वितीय सीरियल नंबर होते हैं. 

Check Digit:

 The last digit is a verification digit used to verify the integrity of the IMEI.

अंतिम अंक एक सत्यापन अंक होता है, जो IMEI की अखंडता को सत्यापित करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है. 

What is the use of IMEI?

Device identification: 

This helps the network identify a specific mobile phone, regardless of the SIM card used.

How to view the IMEI number?

Dial on your phone:

 The easiest way is to dial *#06# on your phone.

सबसे आसान तरीका है अपने फोन पर *#06# डायल करना. 

Look in settings: 

You can find your IMEI number in your phone's settings, under the 'About Phone' or 'General > About' section.

आप अपने फोन की सेटिंग्स में जाकर 'About Phone' या 'General > About' सेक्शन में अपना IMEI नंबर देख सकते हैं. 

Look on the phone's box:
