Input Device

Input device वे डिवाइस है जिनके द्वारा हम कम्प्यूटर में डेटा या निर्देश इनपुट करते है । जैसे- Keyboard, माउस, ट्रेकबॉल आदि।

Input devices are those devices by which we input data or instructions into the computer. Like- Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball etc.

 

Keyboard

कीबोर्ड एक पेरिफेरल डिवाइस है जिसका प्रयोग कंप्यूटर में टेक्स्ट तथा करेक्टर को इनपुट करने के लिए करते है। यह टाइपराइटर की तरह होता है। इसमें 108  keys होती है। जिनके द्वारा हम डाटा और इनफार्मेशन को कंप्यूटर में टाइप करते है।

Keyboard is a peripheral device used to input text and characters into the computer. It is like a typewriter. It has 108 keys. Through which we type data and information into the computer.

Parts of Keyboard

1) अल्फान्यूमेरिक कुंजी (Alphanumeric Key)   

(A to Z and 0 to 9)

2) न्यूमेरिक कुंजी (Numeric Key)                            

(0 to 9)

3) फंक्शन कुंजी (Function Key)                             

 (F1 to F12) 

4) विशिष्ट उद्देश्यी कुंजिया (Specific Purpose Key)   

(Sleep, Power, Volume, Start, Shortcut, Tab, Insert, Esc, Home, End, Delete Etc.)

5) मॉडिफायर कुंजिया (Modifier Keys)

(ALT, SHIFT, CTRL)

6) कर्सर कुंजिया (Cursor Keys)

(Up, Down, Left, Right)

Mouse

यह एक पॉइंटिंग डिवाइस है। जिसका प्रयोग चित्र या ग्राफ़िक्स बनाने के साथ किसी  बटन या मेनू को क्लिक करने के लिए करते है। जिसमे दो या तीन बटन होते हैं। लेफ्ट, राइट, एंड स्क्रॉल बटन। इसकी सहायता से कीबोर्ड के प्रयोग किए बिना कंप्यूटर को कण्ट्रोल कर सकते है।

It is a pointing device. Which is used to create pictures or graphics as well as click a button or menu. Which has two or three buttons. Left, Right, and Scroll buttons. With its help, the computer can be controlled without using the keyboard.

माउस का आविष्कार Douglas Engelbart  ने 1964 में स्टेनफोर्ड रिसर्च इंस्टिट्यूट (Stanford Research Institute) में किया था। 

The mouse was invented by Douglas Engelbart at the Stanford Research Institute in 1964.

माउस के कार्य (Mouse functions) -

1) क्लिकिंग (Clicking)

2) डबल क्लिकिंग (Double Clicking)

3) राइट क्लिकिंग (Right Clicking)

4) ड्रैगिंग (Dragging)

5) स्क्रॉलिंग (Scrolling)

Scanner

स्कैनर (Scanner) एक इनपुट डिवाइस है। कंप्यूटर डाटा या इन्फॉर्मेशन को डिजिटल में लेता है। इसलिए इमेज, डॉक्यूमेंट, टेक्स्ट इत्यादि को Scanner डिजिटल Format में Convert करके Computer में सेव करता है। स्कैनर की सहायता से डाटा को अपलोड करना आसान होता है।

Scanner is an input device. Computer takes data or information into digital form. Therefore, by converting the image, document, text, etc. to the scanner digital format, it saves it in the computer. It is easy to upload the data with the help of scanner.

Joystick

Joystick एक इनपुट डिवाइस होता है इसका प्रयोग कंप्यूटर डिवाइस पर वीडियो गेम खेलने के लिए किया जाता है। जॉयस्टिक को हम किसी भी डायरेक्शन पर घुमा सकते हैं।

उसको 1967 मैं Ralph H. Baer ने बनाया था।

 

Joystick is an input device used to play video games on computer devices. We can rotate the joystick in any direction.

It was made in 1967 by Ralph H. Baer.

Touch Screen

टच स्क्रीन कंप्यूटर की एक इनपुट डिवाइस होती है, जिसमें Screen पर दिख रहे Icons  को उँगलियों के द्वारा टच करके Select, Open और कंट्रोल किया जाता है। Doctor Gorge Samual Hurst ने 1975 में  टच स्क्रीन का आविष्कार किया।

A touch screen is an input device of a computer, in which the icons displayed on the screen are selected, opened and controlled by touching them with the fingers. Doctor Gorge Samual Hurst invented the touch screen in 1975.

Trackball

ट्रैकबॉल एक इनपुट डिवाइस है जिसका उपयोग कर्सर को नियंत्रित करने के लिए किया जाता है। ट्रैकबॉल एक माउस जैसा उपकरण है जिसके बीच में एक गेंद रखी जाती है और गेंद कंप्यूटर स्क्रीन पर कर्सर को नियंत्रित कर सकती है।

 

A trackball is a input device used to control the cursor. A trackball is a mouse-like device with a ball placed in the center and the ball can control the cursor on a computer screen.

 

Light Pen

 Light Pen एक Input Device होती है। जो कंप्यूटर में माउस की तरह ही काम में लाई जाती है। इसे Pointer Device भी कह सकते हैं। Light Pen को कंप्यूटर Screen के ऊपर से चलाते हैं।Light Pen की मदद से कंप्यूटर Screen में किसी भी Icon पर क्लिक कर सकते हैं।

Light Pen is an input device. Which is used in the computer like a mouse. It can also be called Pointer Device.Light Pen is operated from above the computer screen. With the help of Light Pen, you can click on any icon in the computer screen.

 

BCR (Barcode Reader)

 

यह एक Input Device है जो किसी वस्तु, सामान या किसी किताब में लिखे गए Bar Code को स्कैन करती है और उसे Read करती है। यह एक प्रकार का स्कैनर डिवाइस होता है।

It is an input device that scans and reads the bar code written in an object, item or a book. It is a type of scanner device.

 

एक Barcode में किसी वस्तु की कीमत, Expire Date, Manufacture Date, Product Number आदि की जानकारी होती है।

A barcode contains information about the price of an item, expiry date, manufacturing date, product number, etc.

 

MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition)

MICR एक इनपुट डिवाइस होती है। जिसकी मदद से बैंक के Cheque पर चुम्बकीय इंक से लिखे Character की पहचान की जाती है। किसी भी Bank Cheque में नीचे चुम्बकीय स्याही में Bank Account के बारे में Detail लिखी होती है।

MICR is an input device. With the help of which the character written with magnetic ink on the check of the bank is identified. In any bank check, the details about the bank account are written in magnetic ink at the bottom.

OMR (Optical Mark Reader)

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस होती है जिसका इस्तेमाल ऑप्शनल Question पेपर की OMR Answer Sheet  को Check करने के लिए किया जाता है। जिसमें काले पेन्सिल से गोले को भरना होता है। जिन्हे OMR Reader के द्वारा पढ़ा जाता है।

It is an input device which is used to check OMR Answer Sheet of Optional Question Paper. In which the circle has to be filled with black pencil. Which are read by OMR reader.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) 

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस है। OCR एक ऐसा Software Program है जिसकी मदद से किसी भी Document (जैसे -अख़बार, किताबें, मैगजीन आदि) को Scan करके उसके  प्रिंटआउट को Text में Convert करके Edit कर सकते हैं। 

It is an input device. OCR is such a software program, with the help of which you can scan any document (such as newspapers, books, magazines etc.) and edit it by converting its printout into text.

Webcam

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस होती है। जिसकी मदद से Image Capture कर सकते और Video Calling कर सकते हैं। यह Image और Video को कंप्यूटर की मेमोरी में स्टोर करते हैं।

It is an input device. With the help of which you can capture images and do video calling. It stores images and videos in the computer's memory.

Graphic Tablet

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस है। ग्राफ़िक टेबलेट Pad की तरह होता है, और इसके साथ एक डिवाइस मिलता है जो बिलकुल पेन की तरह होता है, इस डिवाइस को Stylus कहते हैं। यूजर Stylus का उपयोग पेन, पेन्सिल या पेंटब्रश के रूप में कर सकते हैं।

It is an input device. The graphic tablet is like a Pad, and with it comes a device that is exactly like a pen, this device is called Stylus. Users can use the Stylus as a pen, pencil or paintbrush.

Digital Camera

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस है। जो Image या Video को डिजिटल Format में Capture करता है और इन्हें अपने Memory में स्टोर कर लेता है। बाद में हम इसमें Store Image, Video को कंप्यूटर में Transfer कर सकते हैं।

 

It is an input device. Which captures the image or video in digital format and stores them in its memory. Later we can transfer Store Image, Video to computer in it.

Microphone (Mic)

 

यह एक इनपुट डिवाइस (Input Device) है जिसकी मदद से आवाज को डिजिटल फॉर्म में Convert कर सकते हैं। माइक्रोफोन के द्वारा कंप्यूटर में हम आवाज को डाल सकते हैं ,और इसके द्वारा कंप्यूटर में टाइपिंग भी कर सकते हैं।

It is an input device with the help of which voice can be converted into digital form. We can put voice in the computer through the microphone, and through this we can also do typing in the computer.

ATM (Automatic teller machine)

एटीएम (ऑटोमेटिक टेलर मशीन) एक इलेक्ट्रो -मैकेनिकल मशीन है। जिसका उपयोग बैंक खातों से पैसे निकालने या लेनदेन के लिए किया जाता है। 

ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) is an electro-mechanical machine. Which is used for withdrawing money or transactions from bank accounts.

Video Camera

विडिओ कैमरा एक इनपुट डिवाइस है। यह एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मशीन है। जो हमारे मोशन को कैप्चर करता है जिसे हम बाद में एक चल चित्र (फिल्म) की तरह देख सकते है।

Video camera is an input device. It is an electronic machine. Which captures our motion which we can later watch like a moving picture (film).

Card Reader

Card Reader एक input device है जो flash memory cards (मेमोरी) को read करने का कार्य करता है। 

Card Reader is an input device that performs the task of reading flash memory cards.

Remote Control

Remote control एक इनपुट device है जिसका प्रयोग दूसरे devices को wirelessly कुछ दुरी से operate करने के लिए किया जाता है।

जैसे - television set, DVD player, और दुसरे home appliance.

 

Remote control is an input device that is used to operate other devices wirelessly from a distance.

Ex - television set, DVD player, and other home appliance.
