Computer Virus (कंप्यूटर वायरस)

कंप्यूटर वायरस एक विशेष प्रकार के सॉफ्टवेयर प्रोग्राम होते हैं जिन्हें कंप्यूटर को हानि पहुँचाने के उद्देश्य से बनाया जाता है।  यह वायरस यूजर की अनुमति के बिना ही कंप्यूटर को संक्रमित कर डेटा को Delete कर देता है और नुकसान पहुंचाता है। इसे मालवेयर (Malware) और एडवेयर (Adware) भी कहा जाता है।

Computer viruses are special types of software programs designed to cause harm to a computer. This virus infects the computer without the permission of the user, deletes the data and causes damage. It is also called Malware and Adware.

कंप्यूटर वायरस का इतिहास (History of Computer)

सबसे पहला कंप्यूटर वायरस 1970 के दशक में ARPANET में खोजा गया था जिसका नाम क्रीपर (Creeper) था और इसे Bob Thomas ने बनाया था।

The first computer virus was discovered in the 1970s in ARPANET named Creeper and was created by Bob Thomas.

Network Virus (नेटवर्क वायरस)

नेटवर्क वायरस इंटरनेट और LAN के द्वारा फैलते हैं। इस प्रकार के वायरस एक नेटवर्क की Performance को ख़राब तथा Slow कर देते हैं।

Network viruses spread through the Internet and LAN. This type of virus spoils and slows down the performance of a network.

Web Scripting Virus (वेब स्क्रिप्टिंग वायरस)

ये वायरस विज्ञापनों, लिंक, इमेज, ऑडियो, विडियो आदि के साथ Attach रहते हैं। जब यूजर इन पर क्लिक करता है तो यह डाउनलोड होने लग जाते हैं और यूजर के कंप्यूटर को नुकशान पहुँचाते हैं। 

These viruses are attached with advertisements, links, images, audios, videos etc. When the user clicks on these, they start downloading and harm the user's computer.

Boot Sector Virus (बूट सेक्टर वायरस)

ये वायरस फ्लॉपी डिस्क या हार्ड डिस्क के बूट सेक्टर में मौजूद रहते हैं। जब संक्रमित डिस्क से कंप्यूटर को बूट किया जाता है तो ये वायरस कंप्यूटर में पहुँच जाते हैं। जिससे कंप्यूटर को स्टार्ट होने में बहुत समय लगता है।

These viruses are present in the boot sector of the floppy disk or hard disk. These viruses enter the computer when the computer is booted from the infected disc. Due to which the computer takes a long time to start.

Overwrite Virus (ओवरराईट वायरस)

ये वायरस कंप्यूटर में Save File को Overwrite कर देता है। Save File के डेटा को मिटाकर अपने कोड को डाल देता है जिससे कि फाइल को पहचानना मुश्किल होता है और फाइल किसी काम की नहीं रहती। 

This virus overwrites the save file in the computer. Erases the data in the save file and inserts its code so that it is difficult to identify the file and the file is of no use.

Browser Hijacker (ब्राउज़र हाई जेकर)

ये वायरस वेब ब्राउज़र को Hijack कर लेते हैं। ये यूजर की अनुमति के बिना ही ब्राउज़र की सेटिंग में हेर – फेर कर देते हैं जिससे कि यूजर किसी संक्रमित वेबसाइट पर पहुँच जाता है।

These viruses hijack the web browser. They manipulate the settings of the browser without the permission of the user so that the user reaches an infected website.
