Booting (बूटिंग)

Power Switch ON करने से लेकर ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम पर आने तक की पूरी प्रक्रिया Booting Process कहलाती है। जिसमें मुख्य रुप से ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम हार्ड डिस्क से अस्थाई मेमोरी (RAM) मे लोड होता है ।

The whole process from power switch ON to operating system is called Booting Process. In which mainly the operating system is loaded from the hard disk into the temporary memory (RAM).

Types of Booting

Cold Booting –

जब पहले से बंद किसी कंप्यूटर को चालू किया जाता है तो इस प्रक्रिया को कोल्ड बूटिंग कहते हैं ।

When a computer that is already shut down is started, this process is called cold booting.

Cold Booting

Warm Booting –

जब किसी चालू कंप्यूटर को रीस्टार्ट किया जाता है तो इस प्रक्रिया को वार्म बूटिंग कहते हैं।

When a running computer is restarted, this process is called warm booting.
