DNS (Domain Name System)

 

DNS stands for Domain Name System.DNS is a directory service that provides a mapping between the name of a host on the network and its numerical address.DNS is required for the functioning of the internet.

DNS डोमेन नाम सिस्टम के लिए खड़ा है। DNS एक directory service है जो नेटवर्क पर होस्ट के नाम और उसके संख्यात्मक पते के बीच मैपिंग प्रदान करती है। इंटरनेट के कामकाज के लिए DNS आवश्यक है।

Each node in a tree has a domain name, and a full domain name is a sequence of symbols specified by dots.

प्रत्येक नोड में एक डोमेन नाम होता है, और एक पूर्ण डोमेन नाम डॉट्स द्वारा specified symbols का एक क्रम होता है।

The domain name space is divided into two different sections:

Generic domains

It defines the registered hosts according to their generic behavior. It uses three-character labels, and these labels describe the organization type.

यह registered hosts को उनके सामान्य व्यवहार के अनुसार परिभाषित करता है। यह तीन-वर्ण लेबल का उपयोग करता है, और ये लेबल संगठन के प्रकार का वर्णन करते हैं।

Country domains

The country domain has the same format as a normal domain, but it uses a two-character country abbreviation (eg, US for the United States).
