APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry)

An APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) ID is a unique, lifelong 12-digit identifier for students in India, designed to create a secure digital record of their academic and co-curricular achievements in a single, accessible platform. Linked to DigiLocker, the APAAR ID facilitates the "One Nation, One Student ID" initiative, enabling seamless academic transitions, credit transfers, and providing a comprehensive "academic passport" for students from school to higher education.  

APAAR (स्वचालित स्थायी शैक्षणिक खाता रजिस्ट्री) आईडी भारत में छात्रों के लिए एक अद्वितीय, आजीवन 12-अंकीय पहचानकर्ता है, जिसे एक ही, सुलभ प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर उनकी शैक्षणिक और सह-पाठ्यचर्या संबंधी उपलब्धियों का एक सुरक्षित डिजिटल रिकॉर्ड बनाने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। डिजिलॉकर से जुड़ी, APAAR आईडी "एक राष्ट्र, एक छात्र आईडी" पहल को सुगम बनाती है, जिससे छात्रों के लिए स्कूल से उच्च शिक्षा तक निर्बाध शैक्षणिक परिवर्तन, क्रेडिट स्थानांतरण और एक व्यापक "शैक्षणिक पासपोर्ट" प्रदान करना संभव हो जाता है।

Usage of APAAR ID

Universal Identifier: 

It assigns a permanent 12-digit ID to every student in India, creating a unified system. 

यह भारत में प्रत्येक छात्र को एक स्थायी 12 अंकों की आईडी प्रदान करता है, जिससे एक एकीकृत प्रणाली बनती है।

Comprehensive Records: 

The ID consolidates a student's academic achievements, including degrees, scholarships, awards, marksheets, and co-curricular accomplishments. 

आईडी में छात्र की शैक्षणिक उपलब्धियों को समेकित किया जाता है, जिसमें डिग्री, छात्रवृत्ति, पुरस्कार, मार्कशीट और सह-पाठ्यचर्या उपलब्धियां शामिल हैं।

Integrated Platform: 

It integrates with the DigiLocker ecosystem, providing a secure place for students to store and access their digital academic records. 

यह डिजिलॉकर पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के साथ एकीकृत है, जो छात्रों को अपने डिजिटल शैक्षणिक रिकॉर्ड को संग्रहीत करने और उन तक पहुंचने के लिए एक सुरक्षित स्थान प्रदान करता है।

Seamless Transition: 

The system simplifies the transfer process between educational institutions, making it easier for students to move between schools or colleges. 

यह प्रणाली शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के बीच स्थानांतरण प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाती है, जिससे छात्रों के लिए स्कूलों या कॉलेजों के बीच स्थानांतरण आसान हो जाता है।

Based on NEP 2020: 

The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Credit and Qualifications Framework (NCrF). 

यह पहल राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (एनईपी) 2020 और राष्ट्रीय क्रेडिट और योग्यता फ्रेमवर्क (एनसीआरएफ) के अनुरूप है।

Academic Bank of Credits (ABC): 

The APAAR ID functions in conjunction with the ABC to track and accumulate academic credits, supporting the "multiple entry, multiple exit" framework of NEP 2020. 

एपीएएआर आईडी, एनईपी 2020 के "मल्टीपल एंट्री, मल्टीपल एग्जिट" ढांचे का समर्थन करते हुए, शैक्षणिक क्रेडिट को ट्रैक करने और संचित करने के लिए एबीसी के साथ मिलकर काम करती है।
