POS (Point of Sale)

POS is a computerized machine which is used in place of cash register. The POS machine does the work of reading debit/credit cards, verifying purchases and giving receipt of goods to the customer. However, this work may vary according to the business and location.

 

POS एक कम्प्यूटराइज्ड मशीन है जिसका उपयोग कैश रजिस्टर के स्थान पर किया जाता है. POS मशीन डेबिट/क्रेडिट कार्ड को पढ़ना, खरीदारी की पुष्टि करना और ग्राहक को सामान की रसीद देने का काम करती है. मगर, यह काम व्यापार तथा लोकेशन के हिसाब से परिवर्तित हो सकता है।
