E-commerce (ई-कॉमर्स)

E-commerce, also known as electronic commerce, is the process of buying and selling products and services over the Internet and other electronic means and transferring money and sharing data online. In addition to physical products in e-commerce, electronic goods and services are also traded.

E-commerce, जिसे इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कॉमर्स भी कहते है, इंटरनेट तथा अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यमों से उत्पाद, और सेवाएं खरिदना-बेचना तथा ऑनलाइन मनी ट्रांसफर करना एवं डेटा शेयर करने की प्रक्रिया है. ई-कॉमर्स में फिजिकल प्रोडक्ट्स के अलावा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक ग़ुड्स तथा सेवाओं का व्यापार भी होता है।

History of E-commerce -

On August 11, 1994, 'Phil Brandenberger' purchased Sting's CD from NetMarket (an online store) for $12.48 via computer, which was paid by credit card. The name of this CD was 'Ten Summoners' Tales'.

11, अगस्त 1994 को ‘फिल ब्रेंडनबर्जर’ ने कम्प्यूटर के द्वारा NetMarket (एक ऑनलाइन स्टोर) से स्टिंग (Sting) की सीडी को $12.48 में ख़रीदा जिसका भुगतान क्रेडिट कार्ड से किया गया. इस सीडी का नाम ‘Ten Summoners’ Tales’ था।

1992 - BookStacks Unlimited launched the first marketplace for books with a website at  www.books.com. Now this website has become www.barnesandnoble.com.

Business to Business (B2B)

B2B is one of the most common types of e-commerce. This is when a transaction of goods or services occurs between two businesses.

 

B2B ई-कॉमर्स के सबसे आम प्रकारों में से एक है। यह तब होता है जब दो व्यवसायों के बीच वस्तुओं या सेवाओं का लेन-देन होता है।

 

Business to Consumer (B2C)

B2C occurs when a business sells a good or service to a consumer. For example, Netflix engages in B2C e-commerce when it sells its service to viewers. The entire transaction occurs online.

B2C तब होता है जब कोई व्यवसाय किसी उपभोक्ता को कोई वस्तु या सेवा बेचता है। उदाहरण के लिए, नेटफ्लिक्स बी2सी ई-कॉमर्स में संलग्न है जब वह दर्शकों को अपनी सेवा बेचता है। पूरा लेनदेन ऑनलाइन होता है।

Consumer to Consumer (C2C)

In this type of e-commerce, both the seller and the buyer are consumers. That is, a consumer sells his product to another consumer through the website.

For example, consumer to consumer selling takes place on platforms like eBay, Etsy, Fivver, OLX, Quicker etc.

इस  प्रकार के e-commerce में seller तथा buyer दोनों consumer होते है| अर्थात एक consumer अपने प्रोडक्ट को दूसरे consumer को वेबसाइट के माध्यम से बेचते है|

 

उदाहरण के लिए उपभोक्ता से उपभोक्ता की बिक्री eBay, Etsy, Fivver, OLX,Quicker आदि जैसे प्लेटफार्मों पर होती है।

 

Consumer to Business (C2B)

Consumer to business e-commerce is such an e-commerce in which the consumer is providing products or services to the business organization. This is the exact opposite of the B2C model.

For example, if you are a graphic designer, then you can design your graphics and sell it to companies.

Consumer To Business ई-कॉमर्स एक ऐसा E-Commerce है जिसमें Consumer जो है वह Business Organisation को प्रोडक्ट या सर्विस प्रदान करते है. यह B2c Model का एकदम उल्टा Model है।

उदाहरण के लिए अगर आप Graphic Designer है तो आप अपने ग्राफ़िक्स को डिजाईन करके कंपनियों को बेच सकते है।

 

Business to Government (B2G)

Business to administration e-commerce is also called business to government (B2G) e-commerce.

In B2A, the business organization and government agency exchange information through the website.

 

Business To Administration ई-कॉमर्स को Business To Governement (B2G) ई-कॉमर्स भी कहते है।

B2A में, Business Organisation तथा Government Agency वेबसाइट के द्वारा सूचना का आदान प्रदान करते है।

 

Consumer to Government (C2G)

C2A (consumer to administration) e-commerce is also called consumer to government e-commerce.

In this, the exchange of information between the consumer and the government agency takes place through the website.

C2A (उपभोक्ता से प्रशासन) ई-कॉमर्स को उपभोक्ता से सरकारी ई-कॉमर्स भी कहा जाता है।

इसमें वेबसाइट के जरिए उपभोक्ता और सरकारी एजेंसी के बीच सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान होता है।
