Windows का पहला Version Windows 1.0 सन 1985
में माइक्रोसॉफ्ट कंपनी द्वारा लांच किया गया था इसके बाद धीरे-धीरे
कई सारे वर्जन लांच किए गए।
The first version of Windows,
Windows 1.0, was launched by the Microsoft Company in 1985, after which several
versions were gradually launched.

फंक्शंस थे जैसे कैलेंडर, एमएस पेंट, केलकुलेटर इत्यादि। यह पहला GUI पर
आधारित ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम था।
This version of Windows was launched by Microsoft in November 1985. Features like Point and Click were available to operate the computer in Windows 1.0. It had a lot of basic functions like Calendar, MS Paint, and Calculator etc. It was the first GUI based operating system.

विशेषताएं (Feature of Microsoft Windows )
1) माइक्रोसॉफ्ट विंडोज एक ग्राफ़िक यूजर इंटरफ़ेस
(GUI) ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम है।
Microsoft Windows is a graphic
user interface (GUI) operating system.
2) Windows के आने के बाद
कंप्यूटर में कार्यों को माउस से किया जा सकता है। पहले कंप्यूटर में किसी भी
कार्य को करने के लिए Command की
आवश्यकता होती थी।
After the arrival of Windows,
tasks in the computer can be done with the mouse. Command was required to
perform any task in the first computer.
3) Windows में Taskbar का Option होता
है जिससे कि आप कंप्यूटर में Open सभी Windows को देख सकते हैं और दूसरे प्रोग्राम में Switch कर सकते हैं।
Windows has the option of Taskbar
so that you can see all the windows open in the computer and switch to other programs.
4) Windows में सर्च फंक्शन
के द्वारा हम अपने कंप्यूटर में Save ढेर सारे फाइलों
में से किसी Specific File को Find कर सकते हो।
Through the search function in
Windows, we can find a specific file out of many saved files in our computer.
5) Windows को अपडेट करने
के लिए आपको विंडो में ही Automatic Update का
विकल्प मिल जाता है। जिससे हम Windows को
सुरक्षित रूप से Automatic अपडेट कर सकते
हैं।
To update Windows, you get the
option of Automatic Update in the window itself. With which we can safely
update Windows automatically.
6) Windows अन्य ऑपरेटिंग
सिस्टम की तुलना में बहुत ही Advance और Complete है इसी कारण से ज्यादातर कंप्यूटर Windows ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।
Windows is very advanced and
complete compared to other operating systems, for this reason most computers
use the Windows operating system.
7) Windows के नए Version में पुराने Version
के Feature भी उपलब्ध होते
हैं।
The features of the old version
are also available in the new version of Windows.
