Operating System (ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

Operating System कंप्यूटर में एक ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर होता है जो कंप्यूटर के हार्डवेयर और अन्य दूसरे सॉफ्टवेयर को संचालित करता है।

Operating System (OS) is the software in a computer that operates the hardware and other software of the computer.

कंप्यूटर को चालू करने के लिए ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। अगर Operating System कंप्यूटर में नहीं होगा तो कंप्यूटर अपना काम नहीं कर सकता है।

Operating system is very important for the computer to run. If the Operating System is not in the computer then the computer cannot do its work.

ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम एक सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेयर है जो कंप्यूटर और यूजर के बीच में Interface की तरह कार्य करता है। जब भी कंप्यूटर को On किया जाता है तो सबसे पहले लोड होने वाला प्रोग्राम ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम ही होता है। कंप्यूटर में चलने वाले सभी Operation को OS ही मैनेज करता है इसलिए इसे Programs Of Program भी कहते हैं।

Operating system is system software that acts as an interface between the computer and the user. Whenever the computer is turned on, the first program to be loaded is the operating system itself. OS manages all the operations running in the computer; hence it is also called Programs of Program.

1) Microsoft Windows (माइक्रोसॉफ्ट विंडोज)

2) Google Android (गूगल एंड्राइड)

3) Apple IOS (एप्पल आईओएस)

4) Apple MacOS (एप्पल मैकओएस)

5) Linux Operating System (लिनक्स ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

 

Types of Operating System (ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम के प्रकार)

 

1) Batch Operating System (बैच ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

 

एक Batch Operating System में सामान कार्यों को कुछ ऑपरेटर की मदद से Batch में एक साथ समूह में रखा जाता है, और इसके बाद इन Batch को एक – एक कर के Executed किया जाता है।

 

In a batch operating system, similar tasks are grouped together in batches with the help of some operators, and after that these batches are executed one by one.

2) Distributed Operating System (वितरित ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

एक Distributed Operating System में यूजर के पास अनेक सिस्टम होते हैं और इन सभी सिस्टम के अपने Resources जैसे कि CPU, मेमोरी आदि होते हैं।  ये सभी सिस्टम Shared Communication Network के द्वारा आपस में जुड़े रहते हैं और प्रत्येक सिस्टम Individually अपना कार्य कर सकता है।

In a Distributed Operating System, the user has many systems and all these systems have their own resources such as CPU, memory, etc. All these systems are interconnected through Shared Communication Network and each system can do its work individually.

3) Time-Sharing Operating System (टाइम शेयरिंग ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

टाइम शेयरिंग ऑपरेटिंग के Operating System को Multi – Tasking Operating System भी कहा जाता है।इसमें Time-Sharing Concept की मदद से एक विशेष समय में एक से अधिक Program को Execute किया जा सकता है।

The Operating System of Time Sharing Operating System is also called Multi-Tasking Operating System, in which more than one program can be executed at a particular time with the help of Time-Sharing Concept.

4) Real Time Operating System (रीयल टाइम ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

Real-Time Operating System का उपयोग तब किया जाता है जब यूजर Real Time Data के साथ काम कर रहा होता है।  इसलिए जैसे ही Data आता है तो बिना किसी Delay के Process Execute करना होता है जिससे कि कोई Buffer देरी नहीं हो।

 

Real-time operating system is used when the user is working with real time data. Therefore, as soon as the data arrives, the process has to be executed without any delay so that there is no buffer delay.

5) Embedded Operating System (एंबेडेड ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम)

एक Embedded Operating System को किसी विशेष डिवाइस या किसी विशेष कार्य को पूरा करने के लिए तैयार किया होता है जो कि एक कंप्यूटर नहीं होता है। जैसे लिफ्ट में इस्तेमाल होने वाला सॉफ्टवेयर केवल लिफ्ट के लिए है और किसी अन्य काम के लिए नहीं होता है।

An Embedded Operating System is designed to perform a particular device or a particular task which is not a computer. Like the software used in the lift is only for the lift and is not used for any other work.
